Privacy

Last updated 13 October 2026

This page describes exactly what ch1.events collects, who can see it, and how to have it deleted. It is written plainly because most of the people using this are under 18.

What we collect

We do not collect your birthday, your address, your phone number, or your email, and we never see your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.

Counting visits

We count how many times each page is opened and roughly how many different browsers open it, so we know whether anyone is looking. To tell one browser from another, a random id is stored in your browser. It is a string of random characters with no meaning, it is not your name, and it is not connected to any event you request or attend.

We do not store IP addresses, we do not work out where you are, and we cannot tell who any individual visitor is. There is no advertising tracker on this site and nothing is shared with anyone else.

Who can see it

Asking to attend one event does not put you on any other event's list.

Where it is kept

In a Cloudflare D1 database in the United States. It is not sold, rented, or shared with advertisers, and it is not used to train anything.

How long we keep it

Guest lists are deleted 90 days after the event they belong to. Payment records are kept by Stripe for as long as the law requires them to be.

Deleting your information

Email hello@ch1.events and ask, and we will delete it. You do not have to give a reason. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian can ask on your behalf and we will act on it the same way.

Photographs

Photos are sometimes taken at events and posted to @ch1.events. Nobody is photographed without being asked first. If a photo of you is posted and you want it taken down, email the address above and it comes down, no reason needed.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
